Intel Atom D525
Dual core Intel Atom D525 features 1.8GHz clock speed and a 1MB cache. It utilizes 13W of power. The Intel Atom 400 and 500 series offers video support, 6 lanes of PCI (x)1 lanes, 4 PCI, Intel High Definition Audio, 10 Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Ports, 3 SATA connections, and the ability to connect directly to DDR2 / DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM.
Expandable PCI or PCIe Slot
Being experts in chassis design, Lanner allows for this product to be further expanded by an addtion PCI or PCIe slot. End users who are aware of the specific application they intend to use Lanner hardware for can benefit greatly from this feature.
Fanless
The number one failure point with any computing system is the cooling fan, supposed 'rugged' machines often need to be repaired and replaced due the the fan shorting out or just breaking down over time. At Lanner we promote fanless design to extend the lifetime of many of our IPCs.
